E+H Atrium - Customer Waiting Area
Project Overview
Maclaren Jones was appointed to reimagine the atrium into a customer waiting area for Endress+Hauser, creating a welcoming, contemporary space that reflects the brand’s corporate identity while enhancing comfort and flow for visitors. The design balances functionality with a refined, hospitality-led aesthetic, transforming the atrium into a calm and engaging environment.
Curved Seating & Soft Landscaping
Curved cushioned seating was designed to soften the architectural lines of the atrium, creating a relaxed and informal waiting experience. Integrated planting, floor lighting and carefully styled side tables add warmth and texture to the space. The approved CGI visual (shown above) guided the final delivery of the design.
Lower Atrium Seating & Feature Wall
At the lower end of the atrium, additional curved seating with extra padded cushions provides enhanced comfort, finished in Endress+Hauser’s corporate colours. This area is anchored by a textured feature wall, designed with curved, clad wooden panelling, layered lighting effects and a striking curved blue panel to create depth, interest and a strong visual focal point.
Contravision Graphics
A large-scale contravision graphic was introduced to communicate Endress+Hauser’s corporate messaging in a subtle yet impactful way. This allows natural light to flow through the space while reinforcing brand presence and values.
