E+H UK Customer Experience Centre

E+H Customer Experience Centre

Project Overview

Here at Maclaren Jones we were challenged by Endress+Hauser to create an imaginative showcase space that would be home to a series of instrumentation rigs. The initial set of rigs would be brought in from their sister company in Switzerland with the view to replacing them over time. So the space needed to be adaptable. Below are images of the space we had to work with before any work had begun.

Moodboard and Final Visuals

Typically for all projects of this scale we would present a series of moodboards to the client to get a feel for the direction they want to head in, before drawing up and producing floorplans and CGI visuals for approval ahead of production. Below is the moodboard chosen to move forward with and below that the final set of CGI visuals.

During

Timeline of the renovation of the space delivered on time and on budget all within a 3 month period:

The whole room was gutted including the removal of a large glass wall dividing the space from the buildings atrium

Temporary walls were put into place during the build for health and safety reasons

Flooring was laid, windows boxed in and new black ceiling tiles were installed

Offsite construction of the designed elements began

Painting and onsite construction of the pillars and light rings commenced

Graphics and visual aspects including the AV were installed before the arrival of the rigs

Final touches and clean-up

All whilst adhering to health and safety rules and regs

The Outcome

Launched in time for an organised customer experience event in December 2024, the space turned out exactly as we had envisaged it.

Return on Investment

The project cost £225,000 and at the first customer event the client received sales orders in excess of £500,000 – further customer events are planned throughout 2025.

A virtual reality video was completed during the customer event and will be launched soon – so watch this space.
