Project Overview
Nationwide Building & Civils approached Maclaren Jones to modernise its brand and online presence while retaining its well-established logo. Rather than creating a completely new identity, the brief was a brand refresh by developing a more contemporary look and feel that reflected the company’s professionalism, experience and reputation within the construction industry.

Working within the existing identity, we developed a comprehensive brand style that introduced complementary colours, a distinctive photography direction and a range of supporting graphic elements. These components created a cohesive visual identity that could be applied consistently across both digital and printed communications, giving the brand refresh a modern appearance while retaining the recognition of its established logo.
Website Design & Corporate Communications
The website was completely redesigned to better showcase the breadth of Nationwide Building & Civils’ services, expertise and completed projects. Each service area was expanded with more informative content, supported by improved navigation and dedicated case studies that provide greater depth and reassurance for prospective clients.
To ensure consistency across every customer touchpoint, the refreshed brand was also rolled out across a suite of corporate communications. This included professionally designed stationery, technical documentation such as CEMP, CPP, RAMS, SWMP and Demolition Phase documents, together with project case studies that present the company’s capabilities in a clear, professional and engaging way.
Outcome
The refreshed brand identity provides Nationwide Building & Civils with a consistent and contemporary brand across both print and digital media. By evolving the existing identity rather than replacing it, Maclaren Jones created a stronger visual presence that better reflects the quality of the business and supports its continued growth.
