E+H Customer Experience

We are pleased to present our latest project in the engineering sector for Endress+Hauser, a world leader in process control and automation, who have been our client for more than 20 years.

Innovation is part of the heritage of Endress+Hauser and the investment in their customer Experience Centre is yet another indication that this tradition is alive and well.

Here at Maclaren Jones we matched the client brief to create an imaginative design to make the customer Experience Centre a flagship within the engineering sector that both stimulates minds and imparts knowledge, whilst having a real WOW factor for visitors to the company.

The customer journey starts as soon as you enter the space where we employed every sensory technique to create a truly impressive, interactive and memorable experience.

The ideas are nevertheless practical with the ability to change the content of the three main areas of Products, Services and Solutions, to reflect future requirements and as technology advances.

The whole look and feel is open plan, light, contemporary, leading edge and most of all exciting so that it draws the visitor in and encourages them to want to explore the space and find out more about the world of Endress+Hauser.

The walk through:

The circular zones guide you around the three key areas of Products, Services and Solutions where the open plan feel encourages customers to roam and discover. Here we have used backlit ‘power pillars’ with lightbox visual graphics showcasing different industry application sectors as well as technology sectors. Mounted on the panels are a series of monitors showcasing video and technical presentation materials. Extra drama is created with LED lighting to the sides and bottom of each pillar.

We have also introduced product pillars, in an ‘artist gallery’ style design, where a single product is showcased in a glass display box – with design future proofed allowing the ability to change the products as required.

The highlight of the whole room however is the Endress+Hauser ‘One Story’ Demo Rig mounted on a central platform to emphasise the importance of this all-encompassing rig. The dramatic circular halo of light suspended in the ceiling gives extra drama and gives the Customer Experience Centre a true focal point.

The Brand Experience:

Working in partnership and being close to customers has been a core ethos for the success and development of Endress+Hauser as a whole. This has been further demonstrated with the launch of the new international brand campaign ‘#TeamUpToImprove’, emphasising the importance of having a reliable partner to count on. We have fully embraced this campaign within the design with feature walls creating a dramatic backdrop to explore the concept. The large format LED backlit CNC cut-out figures of the Divers, Mountaineers and Trapeze Artists are supported by the dramatic campaign videos that play alongside the visuals.
